HERB AND DOROTHY 02:22
Last night, after I was woken up by a 5 am call from a builder in Stockholm, I struggled to go back to sleep, so I started watching this amazing documentary about Herb and Dorothy. Together, these two ordinary looking people have built one of the most important modern art collections in history. And it’s not like they had tons of money to throw around, she used to work as a librarian and he was a postal clerk! I found this documentary extremely interesting and can recommend it to everyone who’s interested in art and collecting. It proves that you don’t have to be a millionaire to have a great collection, all you need is the passion!

LOVE IS IN THE AIR 01:25
What a wonderful weekend we’ve had celebrating the marriage of our friends Solana and Marcus! It all started on Thursday evening with a fabulous dinner at the hip but cozy restaurant Tegui and yesterday we enjoyed a beautiful ceremony and fun party at Solanas family’s farm outside Buenos Aires. An amazing weekend from the beginning to the end!

On the way to Carmelo in Uruguay we stopped by the old town of Colonia del Sacramento to walk the cobbled streets, hear the wild parrots sing and get seduced by the quaint buildings!

HOLA BA! 23:48
I’ve been dying to go to Buenos Aires for so long and finally I’m here! Unfortunately I caught a nasty cold on the flight over but after a couple of hours of sleep at the hotel I was ready to take in this vibrant city. Its’s been an Easter weekend filled with delicious steaks and wine at restaurants like Brasserie Petanque, Cluny and Fervor, a spiritual visit at the breathtaking cemetery in Recoleta and leisurely walks around the hip area Palermo Soho and San Telmo. Tomorrow I’m off to Uruguay – see you there!

I love this movie for Luis Bunuel’s imaginative direction, Catherine Deneuve’s restrained but flawless acting and Yves Saint Laurent’s amazing designs! Oh my, doesn’t she look fantastic!
